Sweet Nostalgia Events was born from a love of love and a genuine obsession with all the little details that make a wedding day unforgettable.

Founded by Amy Barry, a young Irish wedding enthusiast who found herself surrounded by friends and family getting married, Sweet Nostalgia Events began with a simple observation: so many of the beautiful, on-trend wedding ideas being discovered online weren’t always as accessible to couples here in Ireland (Louth , Meath, Dublin , Cavan , Down , Armagh , Monaghan).

And so, Sweet Nostalgia Events was created to bring those “I need that at my wedding!” moments closer to home , making it easier for couples to discover unique wedding details and experiences, all in one place.

From romantic faux florals and statement décor to traditional Irish telephone box audio guestbooks, gelato/ ice cream bikes, beautifully styled signage, unique vintage props, 360° video booths and so much more , Sweet Nostalgia is all about the details that bring personality, fun and a little extra magic to your celebration.

 
We also create beautiful proposal set-ups, designed to make that once-in-a-lifetime moment feel truly unforgettable from the perfect romantic setting for popping the question to a picture-perfect backdrop for the big reveal to friends and family afterwards.

Because often, it’s the details in between that become your favourite memories the messages from loved ones, the unexpected moments, the laughter and the little touches that feel completely you.

Amy also works closely with a trusted network of fellow wedding suppliers, creating bespoke collaborations and package options to bring different elements of your day together seamlessly.
